Happy New Year!  If you are like me, you are already making New Year’s plans for your health, wealth, and growth.  As we dream a new dream and investigate new ways of bringing health & happiness into our lives next year, we often start with our body.  A true cleanse is about much more than just the body. This limited perspective brings limited results. I want to give you the secrets to the 5 easy steps to cleanse your body, mind, AND spirit. No suspense, here they are:

  1. Cleanse Your Gut.  First thing in the morning, rinse your mouth out or brush your teeth and then drink 8-16 oz of water.  This will keep bacteria that formed in your mouth from going into your stomach.  Drinking water first thing in the morning will help flush the bacteria (beneficial if you eat meat) rotting in your stomach from yesterday.  It will also rehydrate you and plump your beautiful skin back up to radiance.

  2. Eliminate White Flour.  I did not say eliminate carbs.  Whole wheat flour is excellent for most people.  White flour is often overly-processed and enriched with synthetic additives containing empty calories with no nutritional value.  It is harmful and produces poor gut health, inflammation, bloating, and gas.

  3. Add More Fruits And Vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are like Medicine from God.  You can live the healthiest life by just eating this.  They speed up your body’s ability to heal and are accelerants to your wellbeing.  If you are efficient and want the quickest and easiest way to cleanse, then eat only raw fruits and vegetables for an extended period.  It’s the holy grail.  The more raw fruits and vegetables you incorporate, the quicker the healing, but steamed, sauteed, and baked is still good.  Fried is not ok in any form.  That’s a mind game.  Don’t fall for it.  (French fries, fried green tomatoes, fried okra, etc.) Fried vegetables battered with white flour is a real lie the devil wants to tell you it is not that bad. 

  4. Meditate Daily.  Meditation will clear your mind and clean the harmful thoughts and energies away from you.  With clarity, you reduce the stress that creates physiological harm and accelerates chronic diseases.  With clarity, you make better decisions for what to eat throughout the day and feel rejuvenated.  Meditation sets the foundation for cleansing, a clean palate to paint the wellbeing that is your life.

For a cleansing that will change your life in an enduring and sustainable way, here is the most critical thing to do that ensures that you cannot fail:

5. Change Your Mindset.  This one element is the superpower that will ensure a successful cleanse and a long life of wellbeing.  A cleanse for total mind, body & spiritual wellbeing starts with this step FIRST…change your mindset!  

A Cleanse Is Healing

Do not think of a cleanse as a diet for weight loss.  While this is an invariably natural benefit of cleansing, the purpose of a cleanse is to heal, like taking vitamins or prescription drugs to cure a condition (if you wish).  Cleansing intends to eliminate the barriers to your health and wellness so that you can enjoy a life of wellbeing.  The fundamental purpose is to rid your body of all the harsh chemicals, toxins, disease, and negative thinking that have invaded and settled within you turning your body into a petri dish for growing harmful cultures.  These toxins create poor relationships and adverse outcomes. A proper cleanse heals your entire life and makes it fertile to receive and cultivate only good things that flow into your full essence.  

You are Not Your Body

In higher consciousness living, we begin understanding that our body is simply a container.   Your body is a tool that transports you and has the properties of sight, smell, sound, touch, and taste that allows you to interact with other human beings communally.  However, you are much, much more than your body.  If you were blind, cripple, or deaf, you would still be YOU.  Your mind and spirit are the directors of your body.  Your belief system influences your thoughts. The body simply carries out your commands to the best of its ability.

Too many people want to lose weight and change their life circumstances, yet start in the wrong place for actual healing, health, and happiness.  The long-lasting cure, which is also the easiest, is first to cleanse your mind and release it from all the false beliefs you have about yourself.

You are a thought in the mind of God, thoughts can never separate from their source, and all things work for your benefit through His grace, powered by love and forgiveness.  You are enough, powerful, and astonishing.  You are sinless, beautiful, and free.  All challenges are lessons that God would have you learn to grow in wisdom, not punishment.  When you honor all that is you—mind, body, & spirit by following the divine principles that God has provided, you honor yourself and Him simultaneously. Your best life is the natural result.  You are cleansed.  Remember who you are!
