How Can I Find Peace?

What is the Truth? In today’s unbelievably volatile environment around the globe, I watch the news with my mouth hung open and shaking my head.  I switch channels between Fox News and CNN to give myself balance and not just rely on whatever views that someone else wants to feed into my spirit. Just like with religions, when you do deep investigation,  you find the common Truth that runs through everything, even seemingly opposing sides. That is the mission. We are fellow journeyers in this life. Our mission is to search for, and live in, the Truth.  And when I see outright lies or turning a blind eye to our inherent Godly virtues, I wonder how is one able to do it?  How does that work to only hear what you want to hear, and see what you want to see?  How to change someone’s mind.My question to the Universe these past several weeks, is how do you change someone’s mind when they can’t see the Truth?  When they use the lens of materialistic or selfish virtues, instead of loving and compassion for all? How can you show someone that concern for mankind is a greater way to live than self-centeredness and myopathy?  And my answer came back quickly and consistently. I can’t.It has been made clear to me through my own awakening that I (and each of us) are to work within our God consciousness to radiate the virtuous principles through our thoughts and actions.  That is, you can only work on your own understanding. God promises that all I have to do is plant the seed and He will take it from there.  And so here is a seed to open your mind to the truth.  I ask you to explore your own values and then radiate the fruit of the spirit.  I remind you that this is your essential purpose in action, not in theological theory.  And to move forward in that spirit. This is where the Truth is and where your blessing lie.  I can’t change your mind, but with these questions, you can open your own mind, plant a positive seed elsewhere, and radiate the principles of love.  Finally and absolutely you magnify your impact on raising the consciousness of the world and thereby…make the world a better place. What are the essential questions? Good essential questions provoke inquiry-based learning.  They center on major concerns and themes relevant to life and living in communion with others.  Some Essential questions to consider—Are you living deathbed virtues or resume virtues?Do you care more about the health and wellness of other human beings, or only your property and bank accounts?Do you have compassion for all humans? Or maybe only Americans? Your own neighborhood? Just your family or those you judge as evenly-yoked?Do you focus on what we have in common, or how we are different?Do you encourage diversity of opinion and bless others, or do you curse them with name-calling and separation maneuvers?  It’s not my job to change your mind.  Only to help open it. Please, please, Please whatever you do…help make the world a better place by living loving fruit of the spirit virtues.God Bless you. And God Bless the United States of America.Love & Light,TK
